We are proud to announce that we will be opening for ESCAPE THE FATE on July 18th at the Transmission Room, 3 days before our album drops and we hit NZ on our album tour. Heres the official announcement. Since the release of their thrilling debut album Dying Is Your Latest Fashion, Escape The Fate have been scheming their way to the top as rock's next frontrunners. The Las Vegas bred group conquered crowds on the US Van's Warped Tour, sold out venues touring with bands such as Bless the Fall and Bullet for My Valentine and recently devastated fans in Australia and NZ when they canceled their slot on Taste of Chaos. Hey everyone,
Viz here, All the boys are in the middle of packing for the Aussie tour. We fly out this afternoon for a month over the other side of the ditch. Everyone is amping to get over there are start playing. Thanks everyone that came and checked us out at Killerfest, it was a fun show and I hope everyone checked out Bleeding Through they were off the chain (A personal favourite of mine). We will be travelling through Aussie for the next month and we are looking forward to playing shows and meeting some of our old Aussie buddies and making some new ones. We will be checking Myspace, Buzznet while on the road so stay in touch keep the comments coming and we will be back before you know it. Shortly after we get back to NZ we will be starting our NZ tour with our good buddies Addison, Scenic Drive and the lovely Grace Lawry so we hope to see you all there at the shows. On a personal note, thanks to everyone for your kind words on my Birthday it was much appreciated. Alright I'm off to start my packing and make sure I don't miss my flight. It's with much regret that we have to announce Kev's departure from False Start. This has been an extremely difficult time for everyone, reasons being personal differences. This in no way means False Start will be breaking up. False Start will remain a four-piece until further notice, but with the help of our friends we will still be able to fulfil our onstage performance obligations over the next few months. this last week has been amazing for us. we have made so many new friends here on buzznet and friends or enemies. we are thrilled that you took the time to listen to our band and give us positive feedback :)
our latest music video which we didn't even think of going outside of our little country is being watched by people worldwide in the UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, Australia, America, even Israel! it's awesome <33 we are so stoked that all of your comments and buzzing got our video featured on buzznet and to number one! on the most commented buzznet videos chart. if you haven't checked it out yet, please give it a watch and if ya like it please buzz and comment. it's for a song called 'THIS IS MY LIFE (BUT YOU'RE THE WORST OF ACTORS)'... you can take the song title literally to mean the song is about some-one we know who is rather a bad actor... so the video is a bit of fun, think Ed Wood, featuring some UFO's dangling on strings, Vampiria, a graveyard picnic and some aaactioon ;) http://falsestartband.buzznet.com/user/video/play/1809171/thi s-is-my-life-but-youre-the/ anyway. we just came home from the new zealand music awards and it's really fueled us up to not give up at this music thing. i just noticed that on the buzznet music chart we are ranked number four. that we are on a chart with the likes of bands that we personally love respect and really look up to is just amaaaaazing. we couldn't of done it without you all. we played last month with a band called funeral for a friend from Wales. their set was just mind-blowing and they were such nice down to earth guys. it was a huge source of inspiration for us all. as a band. and also as individual people. we want to take our music to the world. WE WANT TO BRING OUR LIVE SHOW TO YOU. wherever you are in the world, we want to be able to give you more than some words on the internet and a credit card ordered CD.
